In early March, Advanced Sports Analytics' founder Brandon Adams served as a panelist at the MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference in Boston, MA.  Brandon, along with University of Rochester Neuroscientist Renee Miller, Fantasy Labs co-founder Peter Jennings, and Five Thirty Eight sports writer Neil Paine discussed strategy and trends in Daily Fantasy Sports.

 

 

Highlights include discussions of the value of player performance variability and uncertainty, leveraging player correlation, cognitive bias in DFS, and the importance of processing news in the last hour before lineups are locked.
